Ziibiwing Center Outing with UUFoM

July 15, 2024 • WAltmeier

UUFoM is excited to announce a group visit to the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture and Lifeways on Tuesday, July 23. This enriching experience will be coordinated with the Cleland-Host famly. We will meet at the Mt. Pleasant museum at 10:00 am. For those who need transportation, rides will be available from UUFoM.

Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch to enjoy together during a discussion time at the site. This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn about the rich heritage and traditions of the Anishinabe people. Youth are welcome to attend, provided they are accompanied by a family member.

The Ziibiwing Center visit is an excellent chance to deepen our understanding of Anishinabe culture and foster community connections. The museum is not open on weekends, so be sure to mark your calendars for this special weekday event.

Please contact Jennifer Streid-Mullen at [email protected] for more information or if you have any questions.
