In the summer of 2026, the impacts of climate change have been closer to home and more frightening than ever. At the same time, our options for transitioning our economy have never been more exciting, and Michigan has emerged as a midwest leader in clean energy. This multi media program will outline Michigan’s climate impacts, and the changes that are accelerating all around us. Led by guest speaker and activist Peter Sinclair.

Peter Sinclair is a Videographer, specializing in climate change and clean energy, based in Midland, Michigan. For more than a decade, Mr. Sinclair produced a monthly video series for the Yale University School of Environment, and has interviewed, worked with, traveled with and learned from hundreds of the world’s leading scientists and engineers. As Media director of the Dark Snow Project, an international crowd-funded science communication initiative, Mr. Sinclair has traveled many times to climate hot spots, including Greenland Ice Sheet, embedded with scientific teams. Mr. Sinclair now devotes most of his time to helping site clean energy across Michigan and the Midwest, working across political boundaries to hasten climate solutions.
