The New UU Program
(Check with Rev. Fran for the next offering.)

What is the New UU?

  • This is a three-session introduction to Unitarian-Universalism and the UU Fellowship of Midland.
  • It's for new members, for those who may be thinking about becoming members, or those who are interested in learning more about us.

Becoming a part of a community:

Often, becoming part of a church community is a slow, random affair, fraught with moments of loneliness and uncertainty. This program is designed to capitalize on the energy and excitement new members bring to our congregations and to reduce the moment of awkwardness new members may feel as they begin to become actively involved in church life.

Benefits of the New UU program:
  • Basic information about Unitarian Universalism and the activities and organizations of the Fellowship.

  • Community-building experiences for newcomers and long-time members of the Fellowship.

  • Opportunities to explore ways the Fellowship can meet the needs of newcomers and vice versa.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Midland is recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association as a Welcoming Congregation. We welcome, affirm, promote and celebrate the full participation of all persons in all of our activities without regard to age, gender, sexual orientation, race or any other such category of exclusion.
